Trailer: Spectre

Brace yourselves. Spectre is here.

The first full trailer for the 24th James Bond film from Director Sam Mendes has arrived in spectacular fashion as always.

Here’s the synopsis:

In SPECTRE, a cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.  Sam Mendes returns to direct SPECTRE, with Daniel Craig reprising his role as 007 for the fourth time. SPECTRE is produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, from a script by John Logan and Neal Purvis & Robert Wade.

SPECTRE stands for Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion and is a global criminal syndicate and terrorist organisation in Ian Flemings books lead by supervillain Ernst Stavro Blofeld- the guy that we often saw holding a white cat such as in From Russia with Love and Thunderball, however in the trailer it really looks like Christoph Waltz, who was cast in the role of Franz Oberhauser, is the leader- so the question is, is there still a Blofeld? Or have they changed the name? More info to come.

SPECTRE is set for release in AUSTRALIA on NOVEMBER 12.
