Trailer: True Story ‘The Finest Hours’

From Walt Disney Pictures comes the true story of of the greatest small boat rescue in Coast Guard history.

The Finest Hours is directed by Craig Gillespie (“Lars and the Real Girl”, “Million Dollar Arm”) and stars Chris Pine (the “Star Trek” films); Academy Award® and Golden Globe® nominee Casey Affleck (“Interstellar”) and Ben Foster (“3:10 to Yuma”).

The film is based on the true story of the Pendleton rescue mission attempt in 1952 when two oil tankers broke in half during a nor’easter (a macro-scale storm).

Chris Pine plays Boatswains Mate First Class Bernard Webber, who headed the crew to rescue the crew of the Pendleton.
