The new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has finally been released!
Three days ago Sony released a 17-second teaser in anticipation of the new trailer, which pretty much showed our beloved sarcastic superhero leaping through the air in the city, the first few shots of the new trailer. But now, we are given a further look into what we can expect in the second movie, and this time around things are a bit more ominous.
“Every day I wake up knowing that the more people I try to save the more enemies I will make, and it’s just a matter of time before I face those with more power than I can overcome”
From the look of things, OsCorp is going to be at the core of the movie being the enemy more powerful than he, which is hinted at in the Synopsis:
We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.
It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.
Earlier this week a new poster was making the rounds:
Giving us our first look at the Green Goblin and Rhino along with Electro (which temporarily made all fans on the Twitterverse burst into flames) as the enemies that Spider-Man will be facing.
We’re bound to get some more trailers and TV Spots so stayed tuned! In the mean time, Total Film has met up with the cast to breakdown the new trailer, see it here:
